I feel conflicted about the new setup.

I love the wheels and I love your car and they go well together in many different aspects, yet, something just isnt flowing for me. I cant quite put my finger on it.

Maybe it's just seeing all the aesthetic changes take place in such short time.

Looks nice, and continuing to lower it a little will only make it better. Glad you're happy with your new setup, that's all that matters. Congrats.

@Alex, I forgot that Dillon is good with the PS skills as well, certainly don't want to put too much pressure on you!

:lawl:

@Mikey, Perhaps once the trunk lip spoiler is on, it will all come together and make sense.

D-wreck, I think it's just the angles. Only seeing it from 2 angles isn't enough. If that makes sense.

It looks good from the rear, it's just the front that looks off. I don't know. Also, the wheels have a more bronze color than gold. I think it either needs more pics or is just a "Gotta see it in person" kinda thing.

Yeah, it's hard to get the true idea of how something looks if it's not in person, sometimes.

On that note, Chris mentioned Import Fest to me, so it definately gives me a deadline to work towards, so I am hoping to see a few 6GA rides in person, including his.

I appreciate everyone’s feedback, thanks. The wheels are off now since there’s still salt on the roads. But once it’s warmer and all washed away they will be back on. In the meantime I’m going to order the GC’s and install them.

It was a sad thing to hear from you, but... First, big upgrade on rims. Then, suspension upgrade next. Yeah right, they're small things, my friend. :lawl:

Haha I meant after the wheels and suspension. I will do small stuff here and there still. And I suppose if I found a great deal on a black leather interior…I MIGHT consider it. :lawl: I had hoped to one day supercharge this thing, but that will probably not happen.

The height of the PS will be nice for you, Chris. You'll have nearly as much fun as quite a lot of us with speed humps and driveways soon .. :ugh: haha

Judging by the angles of the photos the rear wheels look flush with the quarter panel as it sits now..? I think, once you lower it the rear wheels will camber in a bit meaning you MAY need a small spacer to make it sit flush again. Don't know how the front wheels sit as in all the photos they're turned .

If you keep your ride height ≥~24" fender to floor you shouldn't have issues with hitting your strut tower either... Assuming you do go somewhere near that height to pull the wheels off nicely :lawl:

I’m good everywhere I go now, but I know even another ½”- ¾” will change things. The wheels were perfectly flush in rear, and poke a tad in the front. We’ll see what changes when I lower it. I’m at around 24+1/4” front and back now. So say I lower another ½”, which would put me around 23+3/4”…you’re saying I would hit the strut towers?

I agree, that rear fitment is near perfect. Would love to see your car actually sitting that low even though I'm sure you rather not be. Whatever you decided to do will look great, I'm sure. Can't wait to see more pictures.

I agre with you, and would love to be right there, it looks great. I just need the car to be perfectly functional on a daily basis for everything that I use it for, but I’m going to get it as close as I can to that.

That looks sweet! but at 18 x 8.5 +31 I doubt it will poke out as far as that without say...a 10-15mm spacer.

Thanks! We’ll see how much another ½” – ¾” pulls the wheel in.

Wheels look good chris!

Thanks Jon! Hope to meet up with you at some point, I’d love for you to shoot my car.

Interesting, inspector. :lawl: Yeah it’s definitely a different car from when you saw it in Chi-town. Actually at the current height the car isn’t flowing quite enough for me either, Dillingham’s PS’s make the car look how I want it to look.

Thanks Brad, lowering will get the car where it needs to be I think. You should have seen these wheels when I got them, they were rough, and ugly as sin. Very happy with the result, I’ve always wanted gold mesh style wheels since I first saw slowaccord’s Algernons.

It looks good from the rear, it's just the front that looks off. I don't know. Also, the wheels have a more bronze color than gold. I think it either needs more pics or is just a "Gotta see it in person" kinda thing.

I just realized the gold looks a little off in the three quarter shots, it was late in the day and I didn’t angle the car just quite enough. But the shot with the BBK is more true of what the gold looks like.

This pic (old) also shows the color better, though it was cloudy that day so they aren’t shining like in the BBK pic. This paint takes on a whole new look in the sun as you are noticing, but as you can see they aren’t bronze.
