This has been biting at me the whole day..I've searched throughout the forum and the closest I found to an S2K Steering Wheel Install was this great DIY http://www.6thgenaccord.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15324 ...however, what would I need on the side if I do purchase an S2K Steering Wheel? I want to replace my stock 1998 Accord Sedan one..Any help is appreciated

not sure what you need to do for an s2k wheel, but have you looked into an RSX wheel? There is a guy on here Selling them and I <3 mine. Just throwin it out there. also, I notice you're from CHI-TOWN! First person I've seen on here from this general region.

If you purchase the AP1 s2000 steering wheel then it should be plug and play, i installed one in my 98 coupe. As long as you order the complete steering wheel and hub it should swap in no problem, all the connectors match and both air bags are stag 1.
The only modification i had to do was cut my horn connector and splice it into the AP1 wheel so it can connect to the s2k horn piece as seen outlined in the pic:
I found it to be a pretty easy swap

Not sure 100% but if that s2k wheel has a dual stage airbag i dont think its compatible with your 98. 01-02 6th gens have dual stage airbags. I know because i installed a rsx wheel recently and it was PnP besides the audio and cruise control. Someone else might be able to confirm though
You're right with the whole dual stage airbag thingy, but the S2K had single stage in the older models i believe.

Yeah the AP1 s2k wheel is single stage, like i said it works because i put one in my 98 coupe.
