Great news people. Other party's adjuster is coming to check out my car tomorrow! I guess the insurance company is pretty much saying they're going to be liable because there's no way around the police report, I suppose.

So what's the worst case scenario for me? To say that my car's totaled or that it's gonna cost X amount to fix? I figure.. if they say that it's totaled, then they're gonna give me a certain amount and take my car away? I don't know how it's going to work out..

Yeah my friend had a 240 that ended up wrecked and bought it back from the junkyard for 250 and gotta insurance check!

na after they see it, they will call you and tell you its a total with an option to salvage and they will ask you what you want to do, and tell you to pull it out of the shop to avoid storage charges. then they will prob have u send in the title to be stamped a salvage rebuild.

but again they can say total with no option to buy back.

mine was totaled i got a $10,500 check and a $1,300 salvage option. so in the end i got a wrecked car and $8,200. then it cost $13,500 to fix (but i also changed color and fixed the entire car)
