My car's nothing but a science project to me. Yup, that's the rez. heat shield in the bay (I hope it rots so I have something else to fix). There's a 30*F difference between the aluminum and the piping at full operating temp. I was switching my 5yr old e-gay intake over to CA today and decided to mix it up a bit. I cut the pipe in 2 places (black parts) and attached it with fiberglass jelly and mat. I finished it with self leveling polyester putty (U-Pol/dolphin glaze). I was looking for the best or both RAI/ CAI so I put it in the middle (extremely throaty). If your wondering where the valve cover is, it got into an accident 7yrs. ago with a wire brush, Lol! I had made a upper strut tower bar out of some saw blades and emt (2lbs) but it didn't like the rain. Feel free to say it looks like ****! But it drives like gold.

Damn man, your bay looks like ****. If you're going to do something like this, at least TRY to make it look clean.
