seatbelt locked

my back seat seat belt is locked and wont let go does any one know how to fix that? i took the whole thing out but cant find how to make it release

don't seat belts carry life time warranty by law?
check on that and get it replaced

Was it locked before you took it apart, or because you took it apart?

I'd put it together, and give a dealership a call to see if it's covered under warranty. Don't tell them you have taken it apart unless it's that obvious.

no it was already locked, u couldnt pull it, but i cant put it back now cus the seatbealt rolled all the way in and cant pull it out to hook it up ..im going to call the dealer and see what they can do about it if not im just going to have to buy a new one
