sedan to coupe front end

hey guys im new to this i have a 98 four door and i really wanna put a 2002 front bumper on it........i was hoping u guys might be able to help me out here i know i need the bumper and the center bumper support but do i really need the hood. thanks guys

i think pretty soon were going to be seeing more sedans w/ coupe bumpers than sedans w/ sedan bumpers ... :ugh2:

You might not have to buy a coupe's hood. If you adjust the bumper beam where the grille clips onto, you should be able to adjust the bumper higher. I purchased a hood from Certifit, and it had a nasty 1 inch gap. I adjusted this, and the gap was gone. Actually, when I closed the hood, it hit the bumper, giving the paint on the bumper two dents. I had to adjust the beam back down a little. I also adjusted the height of the bumper by twisting the two rubber knobs on the core support. I do have my old coupe bumper. I should try it on my wife's 98 sedan to see how it fits by adjusting the beam too.

wow there's a thread made about this every other week. ^^oh and yeah you do need a coupe hood cause they're actually longer and hang down lower in the front.
