shaking...

i just bought an 01 coupe and didnt notice it before i bought it, but when im moving and apply the gas the car starts to shake a little, not like a vibration but just a shake, and only when i apply the gas. And very little. so little that my wife driving would not notice it, but i do. what could it be?

could be an engine mount

it could be your engine mount... but when your engine mount is being ghey, then your car/steering wheel would shake. since when you apply gas, it may be your rotors. i had the same problem when i drove BPAccord's car and he replaced the rotors and the problem's gone.

to make it simple: your rotor.

ya, i guess it could be an engine mount. i doubt its a rotor, or i would feel it all the time, not just while i press the gas. i think it might might be a miss, i got an appointment tomorrow to get it checked out. hopefully it is a miss and i just need a new spark plug or wire or something easy. butif not i wont feel real bad cause i got a killer deal on it from a friend.

SO I TOOK IT TO ONE MECHANIC AND HE THOUGHT IT COULD BE A CV AXLE, SO HE REPLACED THAT. ANS THAT DIDNT FIX IT. SO THEN HE WANTED TO PUT NEW ENGINE MOUNTS ON IT, I TOLD HIM NO, AND TOOK IT TO MY UNCLE-IN-LAWS DEALERSHIP AND HAD THEM SCOPE IT OUT. THEY SAID THAT THE MOTOR MOUNTS ARE JUST FINE, AND THAT THEY THINK ITS THE TRANSMISSION
