i'm not sure about the shocks, but the front springs are definitely different, to support the lighter i4. it will most likely ride a bit soft and sit a tad bit lower than it would stock. top hats shouldn't matter. and you just use the oem top hats with the tein's...some people have bought new ones so they didn't have to remove the ones on their stock setup.

Shocks are also different between v6 & i4, along w/ springs.

this is i4 listing:
http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com...&catcgry4=KA4AT&catcgry5=FRONT+SHOCK+ABSORBER

this is v6 listing:
http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com...&catcgry4=KA4AT&catcgry5=FRONT+SHOCK+ABSORBER

As you can see, all of the components are the same, but springs & shocks are not.

It could be possible to install your i4 stock suspension on your v6, but the ride quality would be different. (But don't quote me on that.)

But why are you going w/ stock suspension? Thought you were looking for coilovers / spring+shocks combo.

Something is weird with those links, the left and right shock units have different part numbers. No reason those shouldn't the same.

X = part number
Y = chassis
Z = version

same part, obviously
same version

different chassis, I suspect valving, V6 has more weight, so it has a stronger spring.

I don't have stock suspension of my own. I traded that and my H&R springs when I bought my coilovers from a member here on the forums. Tein SA coilovers dont come with the top part which is really dumb so I just need top hats lol the guy thats suppose to buy my F2 Type 1's gave me his suspension. He drives a i4 sedan. Just going to take the top hats for my Tein coilovers haha someone is suppose to buy my wheels today so after that I will order it :D
