215/45 or 225/45 looks the best IMO. A 50 sidewall is just too tall for me. Takes away from the lowprofile look.

There is sometimes some variance depending on the tire, I had 215/50 T1R's and the sidewall on those looked like a 45, and performed like a 40. But, on the other hand, a 50 sidewall on a BFG is huge.

^Correct. Just because they are all round, not every tire is built the same. :deal:

A "50" profile is relative to the tire's width.

And in fact, a 215/50/17 is almost identical to a 225/45/17, in terms of sidewall.

Unless you're really good at spotting a .2 inch difference in sidewall height. lol

Tires are pretty much new, P215/50R17.

Gonna check them out tomorrow. I like them. Kinda look like stock LX ;)
I'm not a fan of flashy rims. And if I get rims with tiny spokes, it'll look stupid because of my rear drums :(

that's the goal of tomorrow's visit. probably gonna try one for fits, but $400 is damn good for tires that are new. I need new tires soon anyways.

And by the looks of it, they look pretty clean. My stock ones are pitted beyond belief. Sanding barely made a diff. I might paint them black.

TIRES are 205/40/17, which is definitely too small for an accord.

I run 215/40/17. 40 sidewall does look kinda funny. Its not that its too small, its that it leaves too much gap.

BTW, if im not mistaken, I think the Accord Type-R runs a 40 sidewall stock?
