I'd find out the specs on the rims first, they might be skinny with a 205 tire on them. And of course personally inspect them first to make sure they are in good condition.

Not sure I'd pay $450 though. But if you do get them, a 40 sidewall is too small on a 17" rim.

7" wide? Ewww :hide:

Even stock S2K rims are 7.5" wide.....:lawl:

To the OP, you need to get 50-series tire on that rim(45 at the very least) to keep the specs as close to stock as possible.

Sure online the rims look like a great deal but I would definately get those checked out if you are seriously interested.

The seller doesn't give much info, so that should be a red flag for you right off the bat.

If it turns out to be a good deal, then congrats.

Yea they look clean. He said the tires are basically new, but one is a different brand.

I'm only worried about fitment. I don't know much about rims.

And I could probably talk him down to 400

Does anyone have a pic of what this size looks like with a setup like mine?

they should fit fine i just mounted some 215/40/18 on my Accord ex sedan:thumbup:

Please don't provide incorrect information.

Your 215/40/18 is a completely different size than his 205/40/17's.

Use a tire calculator. They would be way too small.
He should have 205/50/17. 205/45/17 is possible, it would be 3% off on the speedo/odo.
