which would be the best spring to go with my tokico blues?
Skunk2 , Sportlines, Tein S. Techs??

from what i've heard and read:

skunk 2's drop 2 inches in the front 1.9 in the rear, and they ride kinda stiff

Eibach Sportlines 2inch front 2 inch rear, they ride nice but because of the equal drop i fear the "boat look", but they ride smooth

Tein S. Techs 2inch front 1.7 rear, ive heard these are nice and smooth

what i am looking for is a drop without a boat look and smooth riding... any opinions????

CORRECT me if what i've heard or read is wrong also, please

I have sportlines right now, but my first spring was tein s-tech.

With tein s-tech, the drop was decent and the ride was excellent. i can say the quality is near stock. But at that time ,i paired it with stock shocks. I can recommend it for daily driving.

With sportlines right now, i pair it with tokico illumina. I changed to sportline becuz i wanted a lower drop. The drop is nice and ride is pretty good. I set the illumina on the stiffest set-up and it still rides nice. It is stiffer compared to s-tech, but i'm still not satisfied with the performance becuz i want a stiffer ride that can lead to a better handling.

Now it depends on your driving style; if u want a comfortable ride and u dont really care of the handling performance, u can always get s-tech or sportline, but if u really want the best handling, u need skunk becuz it's stiffer and handles better. Or u can save up a lil' bit more and get true coilover.

I hope i can help u with some of my info.

I will say that i had my Tein S-techs on for about 3 weeks and the car (99 4dr) looked great. the back wheel (though i have motegi 18s) was pretty close to the fender and the front was a little more of a gap, but sat very nicely. The ride quality did not decrease much at all, but the handling was much improved. I still have the springs (which were installed for only 3 weeks) in the original tein box with paperwork and stickers if youre interested, i would let them go at a pretty good price. I just bought the tein coilovers instead because a friend got them for me dirt cheap. pm me if youre interested.
