The shop nextdoor to where I work is a Swift Springs dealer so I might get a new pair of fronts. Thinking about going with 16K actually.

Gotta work out spring dimensions and everything first though of course. I think I want a spring that is slightly shorter than what I'm running now so I don't have to preload it much. Gotta see how much room I have to adjust though.

Good news is that the frumpy Subi sound is fixed. Bad coilpack.

arent u already running shorter springs with the hyper coils?
i know hyper coils along with swift are sold with 1 in increments for example 5in free length then 6 and so on so just measure ur springs now with no preload and im pretty sure the id is the same for all coils

I have shorter shock bodies in the front, not springs. I preloaded my springs a bit so I'm not exactly sure how long they are off of the top of my head when compressed. Might be able to measure them today though.

So I checked the rear suspension layout to see if it would be possible to pull the wheel more forward, and what I found was that it would basically be impossible. There are so many arms in so many directions that if you shortened one, you would need to change the angle of all the bushings and possibly alter the length of all the other arms. This would also pull the hub inside more (good for people that want lower offset wheels), but you would need a new upper mount to allow your coilover that type of motion. This can be achieved though with a spherical bearing and I don't think a coilover manufacturer would have too much of a problem figuring out a way to do this (AMR possibly could manufacture this part, even if you use other coilover systems).

The only part I see this being possible on would be the upper mount. The rest of the arms would need new bushings/bearings, adjustable lengths, etc. You could probably reuse your endlinks as they offer a bit of flexibility, but yeah... Kind of sucky. Can't do any of this cheaply.
