Thank you! If i went to the lowest setting i'd scrape everywhere. driveways around here are like curbs and roads arn't always the nicest. For installing it was very simple. Just pull out the old ones and slap in the new ones. the rear were sort of a pain... idk how other people did it, but i unbolted the sway bar endlink bracket to get the coilovers in and out. That was the biggest pain(and it's still relatively simple)There is an argument on whether or not to get a camber kit for the rear. i'll probably buy one later.
LOL, that was my method. front was easy for some reason... took them out with no help.
but rear, holy hell. I used like 2 screw jacks and 3 clamps. I undid the sway bar, I unclipped the brake line mount and wires from the body. then i loosened the top mount, and took out the bolt at the bottom, and put a jack under the axle to support it. then i somehow put a jack and pushed down the whole axle until the brake line limit the movement. then i took out the top mount nuts and pushed it up and tried to pull it out. this part was actually dangerous, after using 3 clamps as a spring compressor, I just pushed the spring real quick and let it shoot out, making sure to stand clear.
im dropped 2" on oem replacement shocks; i still havent gotten an alignment and its been like maybe 2000 miles. Steering feels perfect, and ive gone to 110ish on "private road" with no noise other than my muffler at 4k rpm
cant wait for 5spd, 4spd auto sucks balls. its only good for city driving, and the typical old ppl that drive this gen.
clean car man. Welcome
