So... I called to order my new wheels today...

Yeah, I called Discount Tire to order my new wheels and tires and low and behold... They don't have the ones I wanted in stock.

I think Im going to get 17x7 with a 40 offset instead of the 18's. Ride quality is somewhat important to me.

I am also thinking about going with the 225/45/17 to keep the factory wheel diameter.

So, with the 17x7, 40 offset, 225/45/17, and Eibach Sportlines, will there be rubbing? Am I going to need to roll my fenders?

I do not want to have to modify anything. If I will have to roll my fenders with this setup, I would rather switch to something different. Let me know.

You might have to do a slight roll with the sportsline and the 225. You wont rub while driving, but small dips and uneven pavement might create some contact with tire.

To be honest 17x7, you'll be fine with 215/45-17, speedo won't be off by much. Maybe 1-1.5mph

Oh and you dont always have to create a new thread, just edit you're old thread and bump it.

Fair enough... To be honest, I haven't made up my mind whether to go with the pro or sportlines... The 215/45/17 tires are much cheaper than the 225's too.

People like the sportlines better because it drops nicely and rides very comfortable with a good aftermarket shock.

What kind of tires are you looking to buy?

You can get some Khumo, Falkens Ziex, and Yokohama S. Drives fairly cheap off tirerack.com or Discount/American Tires if there is any in FL.

They should fit fine, have you check out the XXR 502, they are similar in design but have a nice lip to add with it.

Make sure to pair those springs with some aftermarket struts with adjustable height. As said in your other thread.

IMO 215's are lighter in weight, which means you can save some gas a little better than 225's. Same thing about 17' vs 18' rims. I chose my setup based on: Ride quality>speedo>weight.

EDIT: I figured saving some gas part wouldn't be a big deal to you, b/c you're a rich guy lol. I'm not too sure how heavy / light your desired wheels are, but 215's can move your car better than 225's in terms of weight.
