Socal Canyon Cruise

Since last meeting (GEN5ALIVE.COM) and all the fun at the canyon, I was wondering how many members would be interested in doing some canyon cruising in socal (meeting)...maybe some pics and videos..just for fun

Any ideas about places and dates?

I also say Malibu canyons. I know that place like the back of my hand and we'll have hrs of roads to drive if we want..lol. I also know some nice places to take videos and pictures. Just lets wait till i have suspension or at least new tires...haha

We could also use the video for making a 6thgenaccord 09 video...lol

K 2 things. Lets plan it for a couple of weeks, but not TOO long. I'll be busy from say... the 20th on or so... but I want my 6 speed in with Richie's harness!

And second: To those I told to stay in second gear in canyons, DONT. While everyone tells you "Don't be shifting your car, it'll destroy your transmission", this is not true! Your transmission needs to shift to dissipate the heat to different gears. Sorry, but I was just going off of what everyone says -_-

hence why when you said that i replied "I usually just leave it in 3rd"...lol. And if necessary i down shift to second going into turns depending on how my brakes are holding up. I have no clue how my tranny still works *knocks on wood*

but you'll have 6spd.... i will envy and hate you...lol

Malibu canyos are ok...but how about Azusa?
and for those with Autotragic trannys be carefull!

Azusa for sure. We'll keep planning on it. Don't worry, we'll post it up in the meets section when we're ready. I'm on a pretty tight schedual with school ending and stuff, but I'm sure I can fit a cruise in in 2 weekends. MARK YOUR CALENDAR the weekend of the 16th is most likely!
