I did just that. It rang up 15.99 and they adjusted the price.

Got the plastic welder yesterday and started welding away. Sideskirts are almost done. I love that thing, it works like a charm. The plastic cured to a nice solid weld. Just have to make sure the rear is sized perfectly then do the welding on that and i'm golden. The rear is gonna look good when it's done, I'm so anxious. I should have the sides done tonight and on tomorrow! The rear should be done before the weekend is over.

nice projects! i'm really interested in the ram air with the headlights, i'm sure even for daily driven it won't be rice, plus i really think its functional minus the drawbacks of a coldair intake such as water getting sucked in during the winter technically water will still be sucked in since its in the front but not as much as if it was a cold air, please let me know how it turns out

i welded both side and when i was wet sanding the outer started to peel but the gaps were still filled but i think it may still crack there if it has any stress so i think i'm just gonna figure out a way to mount them without using the rear end cap.

I still gotta figure out how to create a form for the piping. I'm thinking of using rigid insulation and sculpting that into the form and covering it with fiberglass or carbon and then digging the foam out.

I want it to be similar to this:

thats a good example but thing is, our highbeam isn't that big, would the sizing of our headlights allow enough air for our intake needs? maybe i need to see how big the ram air is when your done with the mod, but good idea subscribed!

Are you doing your intake from your throttle body all the way to the headlights in fiberglass or CF? That is going to be some work right there. If i were you, I would probably start with a plastic duct of off summit. May save you some time. You can also get CF piping some time on ebay but if you have to recover it, it may be a bit costly. Or you could try to do it all with premade CF, just using couplers. Just a suggestion to make your life easier.

Just checked this thread out for the second time, haven't seen a BNIB WW kit in so long! lol

Wicked projects, really like the headlight project.

Looking forward to seeing how the WW kit turns out as well.

The opening in the headlight is greater than the 3 inch piping i have going to the TB so i would assume that there would be an adequate amount of air feeding the filter.

Nah, the ram air is only going from the headlight to a box around the filter. That's the only part that's gonna be CF wrapped.

nice work man. love the custom work. good luck with the intake

Thanks i think i'll really need it....

UPDATE:
Side skirts are giving me more trouble than i expected. I just realized that the sill of the skirt isn't wide enough to reach from the car sill to the door line. I wanted to avoid using the old skirts or screwing into them. But it looks like that's what i'll have to do, downside is the skirts might protrude out and not give me a clean bodyline. So it looks like i'll be trying to come up with a solution for that.....
