I think a 225/40 is the perfect size, and what I used on my 18's. Don't be swayed by those who want a different look than what your are after.

The Mugens are on their way from Japan, and the FF2s are clearing customs from the US. Been looking into different tires and am thinking of going for the Continental ExtremeContact DWS

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Continental&tireModel=ExtremeContact+DWS&sidewall=Blackwall&partnum=24YR8ECDWSXL&fromCompare1=yes&vehicleSearch=false

My main criteria are
- tires that are not too expensive
- good traction in the wet
- decent treadwear

Interested in hearing people's opinion on these

imo they resemble the hfp 19's.

You mean these ones ...

I actually considered them, because I wanted to stay with all Honda parts, but was not really feeling the Bronze paint and the spokes are kinda skinny for my taste.

Plus, what kinda irked me, is that HFP is a North American marketing gimmick akin to Acura, while Mugen actually has some genuine Motorsport roots and is recognized internationally. I know this shouldn't be the main reason for picking a wheel, but just some food for thought.
