Thosse aren't bad.

What's the offset on them?

RedRyder has mentioned some tires that he is pretty happy with, I'm sure he'll chime in as well.

225/40 is definitelly the right size tire for those wheels. There is no need to stretch tires with those specs. And as far as tires, cant go wrong with some hankook v12's
^ THIS

They look good but those specs suck IMO
How do the specs suck? Because they won't be instantly hellaflush? Spacers would take care of that, if that's what he's going for.

And there's no reason or need for 9" or 10" wide wheels on an Accord. Ever.

Could be wider. What's the offset?

Just go on tire rack and pick whatever.

I would have chosen 215/40 but that's just me.

Depends just how low... but I probably would as well.

As far as tires are concerned, here's what I am looking for ...
The car will be driven April - Nov, we're picking up a third car, a Honda Pilot as a third car for kids and myself for winter duties
Therefore looking for tires with decent dry AND wet traction, and good tread life vs. Super grip and low tread life
Thanks all for your input

Once you get the new setup, you should check out the local TAC Meets in the West End(Thurs-Square One).

Once the new setup arrives and is installed, we're sending her off to Vaughan Fine Touch for 2-3 weeks of 'custom' bodywork :)
Afterwards, definitely gonna meet up, just want to make her look good first :)

Is it going to be a show car, because I can't think of any non-show car mods that would take that long to do.

Not really sure if it'll be a show car but doing a few things to make it look like one.
Be happy to show and tell at a TAC meet :)

Those wheels look very nice and clean, good finish and good design – I dig em. 18x8 +52 is fine, just may need a small spacer if you want them flush with the fenders. I have 18x8 +45 and the fronts are nearly perfectly flush, and the rears I have a 5mm spacer, but 10mm would be perfect. I have around 1.5ish finger gaps currently though.
