Hertz Hi Energy HX300 12inch sub in Bassworx sealed enclosure -$200
The system bumps when you turn the bass all the way up, (shakes all your mirrors, ect) but when its at a normal volume it sounds great, clean, crisp noticeable bass without over powering.
I also have a kenwood cd player with no aux or anything for an ipod -$30
