Squeaky Noise from dash??

its a honda...

theres no point in trying to fix it. a different part will rattle when the temp goes up 10 degrees. my right front speaker grille only rattles below 30 degrees, even with some serious midbass drivers in there all year round.

I have the same problem. I'm assuming it's the speedo drive as it sounds like what I have had on other cars.

I've recently noticed that the squeak is absent when I use my cruise control.

I had the same sound in my old Taurus which actually was the speedo needle, and just recently had the same sound in my Accord...I thought it might be my speedo needle, but then it ended up being the driver side front quarter panel not being tightened down. Just a thought.
