SRS light won't go away

Well its been a long time now, but for whatever reason i'm just now starting to worry about it. Ever since I got my glow gauges put in i've had my SRS light on in the dash. After I was done installing them I was told it was most likely just because I was messing with electrical stuff without disconnecting the battery, and that even with the light on the airbags should still deploy, but lately i've been skeptical about it. Any ideas on how to fix it?

I had the same issue, dealer replaced a seat buckle sensor that was covered under an extended warranty but later told me that the SRS unit itself was bad. Replaced the SRS unit and reset the system and the light went out and has been out ever since.

you should try this, it works for me.

I used the paper clip trick...took like 3 mins
