the point of this thread is...the cluster is wrong. the car is an 01 without an 01-02 cluster...

Whats the difference? looks just like my 01 cluster. The miles on the car are not hard to believe.

The 01 and 02 have thinner numbers and gray-ish guages faces. Its not the mileage we are debating, its the fact this is not an original cluster.Therefore, those miles are inaccurate. Besides, I wouldnt buy a honda from a dude who doesnt even know how to spell V-tec. That right there should be the first red flag.

And if your cluster looks like this accord on ebay, then your car isnt showing its accurate miles. I hate to be redundant but i will anyways. The 01 and 02 models have different style clusters, coupe,sedan,I4 and V6 all changed to the new style in 01. And no, there is not way you can change the ODO. Its embedded into the circuit board.

actually the miles could be correct because it looks like it has an 01 bumper but the grill is from a 98,99 or 2000. the 2001 and 2002 have two lines, whereas the 2000 and under have only 1.

It could be a mistake on his part but who really knows.
