Steering wheel radio controls, was it an option in 2002?

Me again, the new guy with lots of questions.

Were steering wheel radio controls an option for the 2002 Accord? I prefer a factory look if I can get it.

Yes, yes it was, and it's on my OEM steering wheel if you want to buy it!

Yeah but if you don't have it factory, good luck wiring it up to the radio's harness to work properly. I don't think anyone's done it, if I'm not mistaken. (which I may be)

Not really worth the hassle if you don't already have it.

That being said, I would second this presumption.

And I'm not sure if you can just buy an EX harness for pnp.

Cannot, only to hook up the existing steering wheel controls to an aftermarket deck.

It's wired through the steering wheel colum, so not exactly a pnp type of setup.

According to the trusty honda accord owner's manual, they came optional on EX-V6 models, and I think it says LX-V6 models as well.
