Yes, it will get all stickey to your pipes also and that is a ***** to clean off.

Just put colored foil around the intake pipes.

i put a Megan racing sticker on my CAI.. ya i know WTF... but it kinda matched under the hood... anyway it peeled within a week.. it gets to warm to keep the glue attached and then its a PIA to clean the goo off even with goo gone... Just wrap it...

could you put polyurethane over it, or some type of resin that would seal it and be able to resist the heat. Idk it sounds like it would be hard, but hey, then you would have something that alot of others don't have
