stop spilling crap in your car....if thats not an option, buy some simple green, spray it on, leave it for a while then wipe it off..

man Ive had this problem for the longest time ever!!! and guess what? I havent spilled anything!!! I havent cleaned the center console (not the cupholder like everyone thinks) cause there seems like nothing out there to clean it with. if it can be taken out, I gotta see how it would be done (pictures). armor all wont do it because it'll just keep it sticky.

when I bought my accord everything was covered with crumbs, dust, soda and coffee spills and smashed peanuts or something. I just vacuumed everything up the best I could then took everything out and washed it in the sink with purple power. Everything is nice and clean and sticky free now.

IF its where your shifter and cup holder is.
Open the cup holder, and litterally pull it upwards out of the car. it has clips and will come out just use even pressure as to prevent breaking it.

Then with that out use a screw driver and cloth to pry the outside trim of the gear shifter up, this piece is a grey ring around the shifter.

then there are six clips on the main trim itself, the piece that holds the shifter and cup holder that is still in the car, three on each side. Pull the ones near the back first (being closest to the seats Not closest to the windshield.

hope that helps, if not. Here use this.

Clean everything with a sponge and some soap/water.
then let it dry and put it back in the car.

Thanks for the write up brother. The cupholder area is sticky AS WELL as the storage area below my radio. Not the radio pocket but the space beneath it. It's RIDICULOUSLY sticky under there :eekwtf:

Ok well I sanded the cup holder, shifter trim and storage space under the radio pocket and it came out great. No shine but that's fine with me. All those spots looked so nasty with crumbs and all types of miscellaneous ****. It's wonderful.

If I feel like it later on, I will spray paint the cup holder and shifter trim black. Otherwise, it really does look fine
