So I was tinkering around with the sideskirts today and came up with this awesome DIY POSSIBILITY. Haters take your hate elsewhere. I think this just might work.
Check it out.
PICS OF REVISED FINAL PRODUCT! I pulled out the heat gun and evened the skirts out..
-----------------------
((( They arent very straight, but an amended heating process should be able to fix it )))
and as a bonus, heres a picture of my yellow reflectors. hehehe.
***In my opinion, they have a very subtle look to them, thought I know that alot of people are going to think that it looks plain horrible. Either way, its over and done with and I'm satisfied for now until I get some OEM skirts. I am glad to have been the pioneer for such a mod that, if done with more accuracy and efficiency, could save someone hundreds of dollars and look VERY clean.***
Thanks for your support everyone. Constructive criticism is welcome.

UPDATE: PICS OF FINAL RESULTS COMING TONIGHT
^This is my uncle's electric company warehouse where it all went down.
^First I cut off the mounting tabs to make it a straight edge. Looks good, doesnt it?
^It doesnt get much more obvious then this.
^We used the heatgun to heat the inside of the skirt so that it would be able to bend. The large 2x8's kept the skirts in position while heat was applied, and kept them in place while they cooled off.
Not going to lie here, They did not turn out perfectly straight. I expected this to happen, but at the same time, it can be redone later on if need be. Putting them back on the car was a pain in the a$$ cuz the clips weaken and come out of alignment each time the skirts are put on and removed.
STAY TUNED FOR PICS OF FINAL PRODUCT.
---------------------------------------------------
^Step 1. If you carefully cut along the edge where the mounts jut out, you would then have your bottom edge of the skirt when its finished.
^Step 2. Then you cut along the dotted line
^^Step 3. (You might need a friend for this part
) Then take a heat gun and heat the curve from the inside *but not too hot* and have a friend help fold it out with extreme caution and then apply clamps to it after it is flat and allow it to cool off.
----- I know it may seem really sketchy and puts your stock sides in jeopardy, though if done right, it could look REALLY clean imo.
Check it out.
