streched ny license plate.

first off sorry about the crappy pics ....i used my phone.....im at my friends house and saw this bmw outside with a streched plate ...im wondering if anyone has seen this and know where it can be made or how it is made ...here are the pics.....

I think you're right though, the letters don't appear to protrude like on a normal plate.

it looks vinyl ....i notice two holes and saw that it was metal


sooo it might be metal plate with a vinyl on it ....not sure ill take a better look when i leave if its still their
