:driving: so im following this POS crown vic down 1960 (a major st in houston) and a cop whips around and pulls me over. everyone does min of 50 on this st. speed limit is 45mph. im following this car and hes doing bout 60ish. i dont speed if im alone on a street. so he tells me that i was speeding and that the other car was going speed limit. get a ****in ticket for 64 in a 45. :argue: ask the cop why he pulled me over instead of the car that was right in front of me since it was a bucket. and he replies with no you were speeding he was not. i snatched the ticket out his hand and floored it just to piss him off. i dont feel like paying for this one. should i contest this or what should i do. cuz i can get a pic of the car or one similar and a pic of mine and take it to court and tell the judge he was profiling. give me your thoughts on this guys. and the ticket is 130 up to 10mph over then 5 dollars for every mile over that. adds up to 175 dollars. :furious: :furious: :furious:

Just cuz everyone else is speeding doesn't mean you should. Cop used discretion, which, he is allowed to do.

he would most likely use the "there are many fishes in the sea" theory..... u just can't catch them all.. the profiling thing is kinda difficult to use in court if he cop pulled u over only once.... if he, however, has pulled u over a few times for stupid stuff, then he is most definitely profiling... only thing u can do is ask to reduce the 65 mph to something lower...gl

I wish this one cop in this lil piss hole of a town I go through on my way to work would pull me over again for something stupid. He's given me 3 tickets in the past 4 years.

^^^^ Yo thats a good one.LOL....and yeah man same thing happened to me 52mph on a 35mph st. I was behind this car and he stopped me; the cop almost got hit by the car in front of me but I got the ticket. In this cases is better not to argue with the cop cuz is nonsense. I don't know where you live but here in Miami I took the tickect to court and for being first timer I paid $150 and they remove the 4 points on my lisense and the $200 something tickect. No bad... I only care for the points cuz insuranse here is way espensive so I can't afford to have points in my record.
Good luck

i live in houston. and the cop is a fukin b1tch. he was some hick a55 po po. had his damn fishing glasses and his sideburns cut off like way behind his ears. im sure youve seen that stupid a55 hair cut. with a damn flat top. ugh. precinct 4 is a bunch of losers. its the constables only though. since sheriffs are real cops and constables are actually just paper pushers but they put them on the streets and they go ****in crazy with the tickets. ive had maybe 3 tickets from sherriffs. the other 20 or so are from constables. i wanted to punch that a%%hole in his face. but i kept my mouth shut since i feel i didnt do anything wrong. and BLKCURRANT here in houston. if you dont follow traffic you get run off the road. dunno where you live but drive our freeways one day. everyone rolls 80. some roll at 90. why they are uping the speed limits on various freeways in tx to 80mph.

and darkside i can take video clips all damm day long on this street and they will all be rolling at 60. dunno if it would help to make a clip or do it with my digi cam and show the judge or something. its nothing new around here. its just the end of the month adn the cops here get paid like 45hr to go to court for tickets. my dad was a police officer for 19yrs. so i know how the system goes.

and if i would have had a supra TT i would have burned off on his ***. not hard to outrun cops in the older impalas

that's how i got my first ticket. i was just following this truck on the fast lane on the highway and a cop pulled me off rather than this loud *** truck. i didn't notice my speedlimit that time but that truck was going faster than i was. LOL. oh well i guess.

hey man, i know exactly how you feel. i got a ticket last week which was bull****. i ran a yellow, which is completely legal, and he pulled me over claiming i ran the red. i think im gunna contest it because first off its a 200 dollar ticket. 2nd, its gunna be my word v. his word, but i think the judge will go with my word (at least i hope so) because the cop was sitting 200 feet in front of my, facing the same way i was so he was watching me go through an intersection that he couldnt see the light in his rearview mirror. and 3rd, he miss-wrote a few things on the ticket
