im running a 12" L5 600w RMS and a RF 801s, does that make me a n00b? lol
:booty:

that amp your running is not capable of putting out 600W RMS

depending on your wiring you are giving it 200W RMS or 400W RMS or 800W RMS

200 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms
400 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms
800 watts RMS x 1 bridged output at 4 ohms

let me know how your sub is wired and ill let u know what your running at

Oh yeah, forgot to add that.. :eusa_doh:

I have it bridged at 4-ohms. Hits super hard imo.

By the way, I may be 16 but.. I've been doing home and car audio for about 4 or 5 years. :hihi:

I've been running it like that for over a year, its all good. lol

I have put that set-up through serious abuse, I have a feeling it'll last a decent amount of time.

Also, I'm running a JBL GTQ 190 for the front tweeters and door speakers (Boston Acoustics LPF 6.0; oldschool as hell) haha

never ever heard of a sub's sound waves or air pressure causing speakers in the same vicinity to distort... are you sure they weren't just ****ty speakers and pushing too much power too them? the speakers on the rear deck you can actually hear distort easier than you can your doors because the sound waves bounce off the glass straight into your ears rather ran on the floor and up
