Swapping 01-02 fascia with 98-00

Hi,
I have a 2001 accord. My fascia panel is broken and the climate control needs to be replaced. I checked everywhere but i can't find fascia for the 01-02 model but a lot for the 98-00 model.
Now my question is, can i replace the entire fascia panel + climate control with a 98-00 model for my 01-02 model? I'll be going from manual 01-02 climate control to manual 98-00 climate control.

yes, they can swap over, but you need a couple other pieces for it to fit perfectly together. the 98-00 and 01-02 climate controls are a little differently designed, you would need the corresponding year range dash bezel that surrounds whichever climate control you have, as well as the clock and hazard switch in order to have everything fit together.

i did a quick search though and it sounds like a 98-00 hazard switch isn't plug and play with a 01-02 accord, so you'd have to continue to use the current 01-02 switch you have, which wouldn't fit into a 98-00 dash bezel.

Sketch 05 is right, you can interchange from 98-00 to 01-02 and vice versa, make sure you have 98-00 climate control, hazard switch and clock, same goes for 01-02. and last the main one is that you have to re-pin the wires as wires configuration is different for 98-00 and 01-02. i remember becasue i did swap the climate control unit from 98-00 to 01-02 unit.
