The body panels being lined up properly probably helped the light housings from getting more water in them, but really that's due to the low quality of the housings themselves. Not sure why our stock lights would be getting water in them though if they are OEM Stanleys...that is highly unlikely.

Just get a photobucket account, upload them there, then copy the IMG link from the photo, and paste it here.

yeah, i've tried the clear tape method to seal up the hole where the bulbs go in but it doesn't help. but it's still weird that it's only the left rear light that gets the water and the right one never does, so i'm pretty sure it's due to the crappy panel install.

i'll have them posted when i take pics of the car.

They no longer sell the ones I have, but they were something like these (in red):

I'm sure the newer ones with the heatsink are even better, but I don't want to spend $80 on bulbs.

which year honda takes the 3157 bulbs?

also, would it be best to get the red or amber vled for my smoked Depo tail lights.

i know i'm getting the white vled for my reverse lights, but stock bulbs are amber so i was wondering if i should get amber or red. i'll have to get some 168, 7440, and 7443. and vled does sell through ebay but i'm sure i never paid $70 for a pair of leds......quite expensive. some reviews say some of the leds went out, but hopefully it wont for a $70 pair.

^All coupes use 3057 bulbs factory. 3157 is basically an upgraded version of the 3057. The plug is the same. If you look in the VLED description, it lists 3057 as compatible.

For tail lights I would think you would want red. Stock bulbs are amber though? That's interesting. And yeah, 7440 are your reverse light bulbs.

I have had a set of VLED 3157's in my tails for a couple years now, and no issues.

More bulb info in the FAQ (just scroll down):
