Taillights question

hi i belong to Cb7tuner.com im a member there......anyway my bro in law put altezza taillights on his car (i tried to stop him) and now the brake lights dont light up when he brakes however when he turn his lights on they light up...there was a third plug on the driver side that didnt plug into anything on new lights that is my guess what it was for....Anyideas or what to do?

Probably blew a bulb or has em plugged wrong.

no they work when you turn lights on just not when you brake....and there pluged in right i looked

you gotta remove that little black box from the OEM tails...and install it on the aftermarket so you can still have it plugged in...
