The DEPO tail lights, regardless of the year, have the lights in the same place.

They made the 01-02 ones look like the 98-00 ones for some silly reason.

Just connect the lights where they are supposed to go, and they will run fine.

Here is mine (an 02) when I had the CF ones, the black sedan beside me is a 2000 with the red/clear DEPO tails.

Thanks for that picture, that helps a lot. Now like someone said above, I could remove the Amber piece within the turn signal to get that part clear. I tried searching but I could only find a DIY where I would have to put it in the oven, and open them up. The person above said they just cut them out...

Now how would I cut it out exactly? Is there a DIY on that? And since it would be clear, what type of bulb should I be getting to replace it so its still a red or yellow/orange turn signal when its on? (But that gives the clear look still).

To break up the amber pice, you can use needle nose pliers.

Personally, I would recommend the oven method, they seal up just fine once you are done.

As for the bulb, you can get switchback LED's, which Jephu and NotNice sell on here.

Just put your stock ones in oven at like <120 F for <5 minutes (check on them every few minutes make sure they don't get compromised), remove amber piece and stick back together. Takes like less than 10 minutes for the process if they are off the car.

Oh ok, thank you guys! Also as far as a replacement bulb goes, do you think it's best to replace the turn rear turn signals with LEDs, or a clear bulb that lights up amber? I don't really want to go through the trouble to deal with hyperflashing, I don't think I would really mind it, it causes no other issues rather than just blinking fast right?

As far as regular bulbs go though I've heard you can get clear or chrome bulbs that light up amber? If it's true do you know where I could find them? Or what the best LED is for turn signals?

That part is up to you, if you want to use LED bulbs or not.. Especially the part about searching for reputable brands/types of LED's .

Lots of info on LED's as Russian said, read up and see what others have done. Also look at the reflector and decide if you need more forward firing or radial firing LED's.

Hyperflashing is an easy fix, just replace your OEM flasher unit with an LED unit.
