tails *update*

i had an idea...

what if you opened the tail lights (the part with the reverse) and tint the housing of the reverse area red and leave the lense clear, that way it'll look red from the outside but your reverse light will still be white, at least the bulb will be.

and if you really wanted to you could tint the outside lense red as well but not the whole reverse light area, just use thin red strips to cover the area so when you turn on the reverse lights, the white light will still pass through the gaps between the strips.

and then he'll have the sad fate of GTI owners laughing at him?

I say red/clears in almost any situation is a good look, but out of the two choices I'd go with all red.
