The f20b Ecu? Yes, you would have to wire in the knock sensor otherwise I'm pretty sure your car would be in limp mode. I think for that you'd need a part from an h22a4. If you don't have to pass emissions I would highly recommend using a chipped p28.

Limp mode is default setting in the computer of fuel injected cars. It is designed to take over the control calibrations of the engine when a serious problem is detected; which would otherwise make the car undriveable or cause potantial engine or transmission damage. The limp mode will cause the car to produce less power than the normal mode; but it will enable the car to be safely driven home or driven to a repair shop. The check engine light will usually come on when the computer switches to limp home mode.
