Tein Basic Suspension Noise

hello i need help, i recently installed tein basic dampers on my 6th gen accord and for the past month i been getting a weird noise coming from the rear passenger side,when im driving low speeds it makes the noise like a clunk noise like metal hitting metal or something hard to explain ..me and friend took the strut out pushed the shock down all the way and the noise was coming from inside the strut,the shock its not blown or anything but makes that noise when the shock its pushed down..any suggestions or what should i do??

Did you get them new or used?
If new, use the warranty.
If used, you're SOL and might need to get it rebuilt if its coming from inside the damper.

I say the brown rubber piece that is used to decrease sound and such is positioned wrong.

I bought em used from a friend,were can I get it rebuild or fix that problem

Or if its that brown rubber piece how do I know if its placed wrong

I have this same noice coming from my rear passenger strut, but mine is OEM lol. I never thought it was a real issue.

Sorry misread the first post. If you're sure it's your strut making the noise then you'd have to send it back to tein to have them fix it. I think it costs a lot.
