hey i have an 2001 accord v6 coupe and i was planning on installing the tein stechs but is it ok to ride on stock shocks? or should i just buy new shocks

If you use your stock shocks you will blow them out very quickly then have to pull everything apart again to change them. You'll be better off just doin springs and shocks all at once. That what I'm waiting for, until I can afford to do both at the same time.

dont even waste your time installing the springs until you get struts. do the job right the first time and you'll save yourself from headaches.

just get coilovers I'm on stechs and after about two weeks I wanted to go lower like everyone said I would plus for like $150 more I could have picked up some used F2's. What part of VA you from?

Personally. I was totally satisfied by the drop that my S-tech's gave me. It is a subtle drop, personally I think it is the height that our stock suspension should have been.

i got s techs and sitting on stock shocks...also im on 20's no more wheel gap..sits preety low and the ride comfort is great..ive had it like this for about a year....satisfied:thumbup:

go with tokico shocks!
but like many have said, if you're gonna shell out for new shocks and springs, you might as well save $100-$200 more for coils.
This is what I should've done lol, but i'm happy with the s tech drop.

only do springs with stock shocks if u know to disassemble it urself. otherwise dont do it and save for coilovers. :smash:
