Yea, you're going to need to wait for your next tank of gas to see how much your MPGs have changed.

I think you asked before, but if your suspension is shot and / or your alignment is off, it will also impact your MPGs negatively. Just be sure that your alignment is where it should be and that your shocks are in working condition.

Thanks for all the help! Tires are inflated and I'm going to clean the throytle body and egr after school. Yes I did and I think thats an issue too. My alignment is off and my shocks are blown. Im going to do an alignment after I replace my axles. I think its causing this loud creaking when I make left turns...

I had dismal mpg when I bought my car.

Tuneups didnt do much. It didn't start to come into its own until I cleaned the plenum, iacv, egr. Replacing the bad cat and factory exhaust helped too.

Bad/corroded ground cables were causing intermittent ignition issues resulting in poor performance/econony

I still need a valve adjustment and I need to check the fuel pump sock for blockage. I dunno if this will help but it caant hurt

Yeah I got a check engine light so I brought it to the Honda dealer to get the code checked out. They told me the cat wasn't doing its job. The check engine light comes and goes though. It'll stay there for a while then go and come back.

Did the dealer charge you anything for pulling the code? If so, what was it?

And if they did charge you for it, how much did they charge you? If it's a significant enough charge, you'd be better off buying your own scanner and then pull codes all day long from your Accord and any other vehicle.

No charge it wad free. I had to pick up parts for my mom so I decided to ask them while I was there. I don't remember the code, the guy just told me the code but I forgot it. He did say the code was given off because the cat was not doing its job and that it needs to be replaced. I didn't get it replaced there because dealers always charge super high price.
