Damn, sorry to hear about this. But glad you might be keeping the accord!

Not sure if buying back the accord and fixing it up would be cheaper than getting an mkii jetta though...

Matt, are you going with the Raptor Liner for durability or looks? If you're going for looks, why not just black paint with a black clearcoat..?

Good luck with it man. Like you said, salvaged title will be fun. :/

Matt,

It almost brought a tear to my eye to read your OP.

Glad to see just a few pages later, there is still hope that the car will still be around for you to enjoy!

I say go with the Raptor Liner, I had tried something similar with my lip kit/fender flares, but the Raptor Liner is a much better product.

I say go for it, I considered doing my whole car like that after a saw a local Subaru do the same thing.

Glad to hear it, and keep us posted.

I appreciate the honourable mention along with Chris, but glad to see everyone who really came together to offer you support in this. Reaffirms the 'family' environment that 6GA has.

When are you buying the car back?

Should be any day now. I am still waiting on the call and since the storm was so severe all the body shops are backed up. I can't wait to get started on restoring the car.

I am going to buy it back and repair it. I know what I've done to my car and no that it is in great condition so it is the most practical choice.

I am going for both ;). I'm done with paint.

I Love this site and this site has helped me out so much. It is an amazing thing! I get to the privelege to help young adults on a daily basis battle their addictions and mental health issues, so it is awesome to see the saying "what gos around, comes around" working in my life!
