I just got the 2002 accord ex special edition but who could tell me the engine number ?
I asked the previous owner about the recall part but she said this model doesn't
belong the recall model. Is that true ? she never used the dealer to do any maintenance even change the timing belt .Now it become my problem. Because the miles is 160,000.I need to decide where should I go to change the timing belt .Is the repair store or dealership? I live in cambridge(ma) ,does anyone has good idea or good suggestion?

if I'm not mistaken the trim doesn't matter, because the F23A4 is the ULEV engine so it could be put in any of them.

I'm not positive about that though, like I'm not sure if the ULEV's were ever put in the EX trim Accords.

but yes the A5 was definitely in the DX.

That does sound correct to me.

And the A5 doesn't have Vtec, correct?
