Looking for a clean and unmolested e36 M3 Sedan and also at e46 330's and M3's.

Not a huge fan of the e9X cars.
honestly justin you need to drive a e46 then drive a e9x and you will not want anything else.. but if your going to get a e36 m3 then make sure its a 95 since they dont have traction control..

sorry bout the tl hopefully you can sell it quickly

I say buy an accord, drive it for a couple of years then get a skyline in 2014. But if you want a m3 go e46, beautiful, fast and just breathtaking machines.

Any idea if those guys actually get the money they are asking for those cars online? They have some of the CLEANEST e36 M cars I have seen, but the prices they ask are VERY optimistic IMO.

I think Skyy got his e36 M3 for just under sticker, I'd ask him about his buying experience there to be sure. You can also opt not to have them tune things up for you before buying a car, if you can do it yourself. Addtionally, if they get a car on the lot that they haven't revamped yet you can get it at a discounted price (granted, there will be more work for you to do to get it running or looking new, but it will save you money up front).
They also can get away with charging more since they're specialists.

All the older models they get, they revamp them and sell for a little more. They do flawless work though, and use all genuine parts. I don't know where they find all these genuine BMW sideskirts and what not from 16+ years ago, but all the cars that are restored to original form are amazing inside and out, especially their e30's.

e9_ cars are beasts, but they have more electronics and asists that can be expensive to fix when they break. I personally don't like the exterior of newer Bimmers as much as older ones, and they are so expensive nowdays. The e46 M3 is still the best looking one imo, and it's one of the easiest gens to work on. V8 would sure be nice though, lol.

Look at the m5 too, there's a 99 m5 that drifts around my block all of the time. It's sweet as hell.

EXACTLY. The less computer controlled **** the better IMO. e36 M3's are pretty simple cars which is why I like them.

Dual VANOS V8 BMW's are really the only ones that scare me a little bit. The e39 M5 was very high on my list of next possible cars, and then the VANOS on the right bank of my boss's '02 failed causing catastrophic engine damage at 102k miles.

A brand new S62 engine from BMW is right around $25,000. They can be had used on eBay, but if you want a lower mileage one with at least a one year warranty you're still around $10,000.

I ended up selling the car for him on Craigslist for $5500 as a non-running parts car to this kid that INSISTED that he could fix it. I even warned him of the potential cost of this project, but he still bought it. A month later I get a call from a guy in Worcester, MA that bought the car at auction for $5k asking me what exactly was wrong with it, lol.

Damn sorry for your problems with it. Cops didn't do anything to the other driver for being uninsured and unregistered? I would lawyer up and at least get your deductible covered seems pretty easy to win.

1/4 commute to work? have you considered biking? I bike two miles two work rather than sit at the 7million stop signs and traffic lights on the way in. Helps wake me up in the morning, saves gas, and I don't have to fight for a parking spot.

Sad day. Really loved your TL. Glad to see that your so chill with the accident. To see a BMW in your capable hands would be oh so awesome. Maybe even take it to HPF :D

I'm in real estate and I'm on the road showing property a good part of the day. I don't think it would be very professional showing up to a viewing all hot, sweaty and out of breath, lol.

Besides....I'm old....my knees can't take it.......
