how much does a 6 speed tranny swap cost

Read couple post prior to you.

Anybody dealt with Phoenix Transmissions? They sell reman 6thGen AT's for $1,000/shipped with a 12/12K warranty on ebay. Sounds too good to be true.

I had my eyes on those also, so any one in here have them please give them a feedback product.

$1900? I swear I've read these guys talking about $3k+ on rebuilt transmissions.

My '99 AV6 coupe is at 116k miles, tranny still feels strong to me.

Raymond I was thinking about the same as you when my AV6 shift nice and smooth but not until my differential seal got busted and leak ATF every where. I found out that the final drive is wearing out so therefore I also need a new one lol.

My 99 Accord EXL I4 went at 94,654 miles.

Now has 130,700+ miles... still feels fine. Time for a fluid change. Been contemplating an extended warranty, though not sure its worth it. Warranty direct has good prices, and it would cover my worn engine mounts and other things like that.

Can't believe I bought this car knowing it had tranny issues... feeling stupid. :/
