Thanks lashlee for clearing things up!

As for the RCA that goes from Subwoofer Line OUT off the headunit to the JL 500/1 monoblock amp, do i need a RCA that has (1) RCA on one end and (2) RCA on the other end?

Cause the 500/1 Monoblock amp has a input for left and right channel. So i was thinking (1) RCA plugged into the subwoofer line out and (2) RCA for the L and R input channels on the amp.

Will that be correct?
-or-
do i still get the RCA with 2IN's and 2OUT's?

If your radio has two outputs for the sub than get a stereo, and if it only has one out than a single end on one and a pair on the other will work. Or you could get a regular pair and a simple y adapter.

I'm about to do the wiring for my audio setup:
- Power wire from battery through firewall, and on driver side
- RCA, remote, speaker wire on passenger side to headunit, and components to front, from the amp in the trunk.

Is there any suggestions on which panels I should remove for the wiring process?
( i wont be removing the front seats, but I will be removing the back seats )

any experiences or tips would be great!

Thanks

The sill plates are an easy removal. The rear seat has a single 10mm bolt that is just to the left (drivers side) of center that has to be removed to get the lower cushion. The upper side cushions have a single 10mm bolt on each side. Once you get started just take you time and if something doesn't come out easy it probably still is connected somewhere.

will it be okay if I placed my sub enclosure in my trunk so that my sub is facing upwards toward the sky?

i've seen it before, but is it good\bad for the sub?
