That's how mine are! You will hear more vibration from the rear deck and trunk lid since they take the brunt of the air movement. I've had a few boxes in the Accord that all have had the subs in that orientation with no major issues. The only thing I would say is that the cones collect some more dust than those in a traditional enclosure.
