This guy needs to be labeled as a scammer.

I have managed to source his fathers name and phone number (and workplace, aliases, and relatives. Eeep.) would it be unethical for me to call and snitch on him ?

with all his info listed, i'm surprised nobody had gone to his place.....

maybe tell his parents what he did... the parents might pay the money back first

and prob get ryan grounded in the process :coffee:

This is true.

Also, ALL of the "8" people whom have been scammed should file a complaint here: http://www.ic3.gov/

They are an internet crime complaint center, and when a claim is filed, they review it and report it to the proper law enforcement. It's worth a try.

what if he isnt really parting out his car, and he's listed items he owns to just scam people so he can use the money to buy more parts? :crazyrun:

This. Grab a few friends, and show up at his door.

They are just all waiting for that 'one' person to do all the work and chime in after.

Damn get the **** off your assess and do something about it. $15 isn't much, but that is still your money. He either owes you a lanyard or a refund.

Lets say 10 people bought it and he didn't refund them, that's $150 he just got away with without you guys not doing anything about it.

Doesn't take anymore than 1 hour to report this scam with all the info posted. His bank will overdraft the money and you'll get your $15, simple as that.

Young and stupid I must have to say.

The saddest part about the whole thing, is he said he still owes 8 people right? Thats $120. And i'm 99% sure if I didn't start this thread it wouldn't have gotten started. He's lucky he scammed such push-over people. If I would've bought one, you can guarantee I would've had his damn paypal locked up and my money back within that 45 day period.
