So would a simple adjustment be out of the question? I know once you're in there it makes cents to just replace the parts that'll eventually kill my car if neglected. But I was simply just troubleshooting a whimpy exhaust putt at idle and now I'm looking at a whopper! And my slave cylinder boot is leaking. And my DC 4-2-1 is cracked... FML

That is hard to tell without looking at the timing. As long as your careful, have the tools, and think you can do it yourself, then go for it. I would give it a 7/10 in difficulty, but, if you do not do it right you can break the internals of the engine. Then....uh....well you know what that leads to.

This is what I would do: have the motor fixed, wrap the header leak with exhaust tape, and fill the clutch reservoir when it gets low. Then when you have more money fix the slave cylinder, then the header.

Awesome input hondatech. I'm getting the slave done and header welded tomorrow. I get paid Friday and the timing is getting done after that. Thanks for all your input HondaTech. You've helped out more than enough
