yeah in cali the legal would be 70% front... i have mine at 50% front and i have no clue what i have in the back because i bought my car with that dark tint already so i was afraid to go 35% for the front, although it could have been nice though... oh well

I have 38% all around, and a 5% strip on the windshield. Even with the 7% drop in VLT on the windows from the factory 'tint', I am still legal at 31% (minimum legal is 29% in Hawaii). Factory 'tint' is supposedly a green heat rejecting film attached to the glass, which you generally can't see. But it accounts for the variance from the film you attach to the windows, and the metered value. You'll probably know what I mean if you've ever had a scratched window, because the scratch will look brighter than the surrounding glass. [My info may be wrong, but thats what I've been given, so please don't flame me. ;) ]

by the end of the month, i should have 20% all around... i wanted 5% but dont want to deal with cops, and legal is 35% on the fronts, and anything you want on the rears, but IMO it looks better to be balacned all the way around...

Anyone have light tint all around? Like %50+ all the way around. It's not even a cosmetic thing. My accord is the first car i've owned with no tint. And i'm not into the dark tint to much. I'd just like to keep some heat out.

2.5% on the back:

im thinking of getting my fronts done to 20%, right now theyre not tinted at all.

2.5% is great on the back, cuz at night i dont have to change my mirror so that the lights on the car behind me dont blind me, haha. but yea, its dark at night. but if you can back up using your mirrors (like i can do) or open your door and look back, then youll be fine. to me its honestly easier to back up using my mirrors then turning around and looking out my back window. but anyway, it is dark as hell at night, haha.

werd dude, get them tinted, but it still adds a nice feature to your car. not many states allow that low of tint even on their back windows!

Well I got 15% all around and 30% on windsheild. Love it! The windshield makes the other tint look a lot darker cuz less light comes in. Florida legal is 25% front, no windshield, and anything goes on back. I don think 15% is too dark and I don't see the 13% thing or w/e it looks the same as another 15% I know.
