Tint

I'm pretty sure Ohio is 37% to keep it legal, or something like that...


I was looking at tinting, but there's other things on my list first... lol

I have 18% and it's VERY dark at night, I wouldn't go any darker unless you don't want to be able to see.

How do you get your car inspected here in NC? I thought 35% all the way around was the limit. My 00' has 35% black all the way around, and my wifes 02' has 35% mirror all the way around. 00' is Signet Silver and the 02' is Satin Silver.

heres my tint setup.. 35% in the front and 20% all around in the back..

when theres no street light hitting my car the front windows are pitch black.. when street lights do hit my car your barely able to make out the figure in the car
but the back windows are always pitch black at night

it all depends on the state your in. in a state like mine(AZ), the sun beats down on your car in the summer, and tint really helps with the heat so cops are pretty lax about how dark you go. the further down south you go, and the brighter the sun is in your state, the darker you can go.

i guess im considered pretty lucky.. i live in socal and the rules here are pretty strict
but my tints are illegal, HIDs are illegal, and i dont have a front licesne plate and ive never been harassed before.. the local cops around my area are pretty cool and dont give too much sh!t on stuff like that

Po I've never been hassled or even given a second look around Blacksburg. Back in Williamsburg well yeah, first day I was back I got a ticket. But that's why Williamsburg sucks.

You ever been hassled for yours? You've seen mine in person its pretty dark... I passed 2 state cops this morning and a sherriff though and no one even looked my way really.

I live in NC and I have not had a problem with my window tint. My car has 20% on all the windows and I have been pulled over a few times since I had it tinted and no cops have said a word about the tint. I haven't had a problem with the inspection either.
