Ok so i found most of the information that i wanted, but needed some opinions... Im looking at 235/45/17 for my car, its about time for a new set and will deff get them before winter, im looking for a good all season tire with a better than 400utqg, and i found these

235/45-17 NEXEN N5000 94H BSW

235/45-17 FALKEN AZENIS PT-722 A/S 94V BLT

235/45-17 GT CHAMPIRO 328 97W

has anyone used these or have an opinion on these.. or a better suggestion..Im not looking at spending more than 400ish on tires... I drive curvy mountain roads every day for 30-50 miles and only about 6 highway miles.. Stock height car

nexens are pretty good but thread life is pretty weak....i've always used those falkens......so far on 5 cars and ive hit sum enormous surprise potholes and never had an issue....i have em stretched on my 18x9.5s now and no prob at all ither...i always liked them.....the Falken 912s r better i think....

I'm not sure the last ones are A/S, I'd check a few sites to make sure.

But out of those I'd go with Falken. And I'd go with a 225 section width as opposed to 235.

And if you're at stock height, I'd recommend a 50 profile, both for looks and maintaining correct factory overall diameter to keep your speedo/odo accurate.

I've never had any of those tires personally, my brother has had falkens and they didn't last long at all.

Read through this: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/techpage.jsp?techid=48

As for the champro tires: http://www.onlinetires.com/products/vehicle/tires/gt/195%2F55-15+gt+champiro+328+85h.html

They have a 460 A A rating, which is good

For the Falkens:http://www.falkentire.com/Tires/Passenger-Car/Azenis-PT722-A-S-22

They have a rating of 600 A A, which is better.

The Nexens: http://www.nexentireusa.com/tires-2/N5000

These have a rating of 420 A A The least prospective of the three.

The Falkens should last a long time, but they won't hold the road as well. The Champro tires are probably your best bet, all three have the same rating for temperature and wet traction. What it will come down to is your budget and the weather where you live. Personally I'd do the champros.

falkens or sure and driving habbit have a big effect on tire wear but f it lol
but wats prices on them
http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/rshop....qg&kategorie=6&Ang_pro_Seite=15&sort_by=preis, might thro u further from ur final decition but for the better, i found this site to have best prices
and 225 45 17 is same height at factory so 235 45 17 will be slightly taller, but not too much ull be goin 60.8 when ur odom says 60
http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
i suggest to go with 225 instead but u seem set on 235

just in case u want 225

Thanks for all the input, and keep it coming... Im not completely set on 235, so keeping my opitons open for the 225.. im just really looking for a tire thats gonna last me longer than 7 months of mountain driving... I have Kumho ecsta AST 215/45/17 and im not happy with them (first 2 weeks were great but after that :boo: ) .. i cant take a corner like i could on the the bigger ASX's (dont remember size but were deff wider than the 215/45/17)...

Eveyone loves Falken's but from what you've showed us, I would go with the Nexens. Nexen is actually a really good tire and I think you'll love it.

I have the nexen n5000 215/45/17 and as the tire wears, they get kind of noisy. Also, they aren't that good in the rain. I'd go with falkens.

Not to be rude here but why would you go with such inferior tires?!?!

Tires are basically the most important thing when it comes to braking (hence preventing an accident) so why would you get a crappy one?!

I would stick with something more common like Mich or Bridgestone...Costco has like $100 bucks off 4 tires right now...Bridgestones if I am not mistaking
