TL upper strut bar install question

Searched around but couldn't find the right answer.. Anyone have issues removing the clips holding the tubes/wires from the OEM strut bars? I feel like just ripping them off, but I'm not to sure if that's a wise idea... lol. Sorry for the noobish question!

you need to push in the tabs that are holding them on...try needle nose plyers and a flat head screw driver or two....if you do it correctly it will be nice when you can reuse them on the TL bar. It will look OEM...not so much if you have to use zip ties after breaking them...

i forced it off using a vice grip. Don't worry it's only plastic...

Thanks for the responses guys.. Yeah, I'll take a crack at it when I get home tonight, I just wasn't sure whether or not/and how some people left them intact.
